Scott Albrecht is a partner at Green, Steel & Albrecht, LLP. Scott has been with GSA since its inception, joining his current litigation partner Philip Green in 2000 where they grew a boutique litigation practice prior to teaming with William Steel in 2004.
Scott is one of two partners responsible for managing GSA’s litigation department, specializing in creditor rights and remedies, finance, real estate, construction, business and partnership disputes. Scott brings a practical, hands-on approach to advising his clients, achieving outstanding results in hundreds of matters representing both plaintiff and defendant parties. Responsible for handling both jury and bench trials to verdict in more than a dozen cases, his representative clients include banking institutions, private lenders, developers, general contractors, business owners, real estate brokers, and individuals. Scott has significant experience in judicial foreclosures and receiverships.
Scott has tried cases throughout California and has provided counsel to clients in numerous states and international locations, including China, Canada, Mexico and Hong Kong. Scott also serves as outside general counsel for numerous businesses throughout Southern California.
Scott is an active member of LawPact, an international association of independent business law firms, where GSA serves as the representative law firm from Southern California. He is also active in his hometown community of Newport Beach where he works with local schools, non-profits and city politics.
