Scott Albrecht is a partner at Green, Steel & Albrecht, LLP managing the finance and transactional practice groups of the firm. Scott has been with GSA since its inception, joining his current litigation partner Philip Green in 2000 where they grew a boutique litigation practice to a full service law firm servicing client needs on a local, nationwide and international level in all areas of business transaction and litigation matters.
Scott’s practice is primarily focused on representing clients in the financial services industries, including community and regional banks, credit unions, equity groups, financial service corporations, mortgage bankers, brokers and real estate developers. Scott’s legal services include routinely advising clients with respect to problem loan workout proceedings, creditor rights, banking law, receiverships and business disputes. Scott brings a practical, hands-on approach to guiding his clients, achieving outstanding results in hundreds of matters involving both transactional and litigation related issues and has handled both jury and bench trials to verdict in more than a dozen cases.
Scott is an active member of LawPact, an international association of independent business law firms, where GSA serves as the representative law firm from Southern California. He is also active in his hometown community of Newport Beach where he works with local schools, non-profits and city politics.
