Ms. Evans’ practice focuses on representing business entities and individuals in all aspects of complex business transactions with an emphasis on real property transactions.
Ms. Evans has significant experience in the purchase and sale of real property, commercial leasing, licensing and granting interests in real property, the purchase and sale of businesses and business assets, the formation of business entities and the preparation and maintenance of corporate agreements and records. In addition to representing business entities and individuals, Ms. Evans has worked on behalf of cities and public agencies. Her work for public agencies included drafting and negotiating development and disposition agreements, purchase agreements and lease agreements as well as documenting secured loans.
Ms. Evans has represented a wide range of clients including large corporations, joint ventures, public entities, small businesses and individuals.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Evans worked in aerospace and held a top secret security clearance with the government. While working in aerospace she negotiated and managed multimillion dollar production contracts with prime military contractors, foreign governments and large commercial contractors for airplane parts and systems.
Ms. Evans graduated from the University of California at Irvine in 1993 with bachelor of arts degrees in both economics and art history. After taking time off from her education to work in aerospace, Ms. Evans returned to school and obtained her juris doctor from Loyola Law School in 2001, graduating in the top 15% of her class. While attending Loyola, Ms. Evans was awarded the Faculty Academic Honors Scholarship, an Irish American Bar Association Scholarship and was admitted to membership in the St. Thomas More Honor Society.
