Monica is Of Counsel in the litigation department at Green Steel & Albrecht, LLP. In her some 20 years of practice, Monica approaches each legal issue and lawsuit with the goal of reaching an effective and efficient business solution for the client. Her diverse experience at large international law firms such as Morrison and Foerster, LLP and Greenberg Traurig, LLP and smaller boutiques like Green, Steel & Albrecht, LLP, gives her a unique skill in balancing legal strategies with their related costs in order to maximize value to the client.
Monica is experienced in all phases of litigation, from pre-lawsuit strategizing through trial, post-judgment collection and appeal. In addition to specializing in real estate, finance, construction, business and partnership/shareholder disputes, Monica counsels clients on transactions, joint ventures, corporate structure, formation and governance. She serves as general counsel for companies who want to avoid and minimize legal disputes and oversees litigation handled by outside counsel. In her role as general counsel, Monica functions as a trusted advisor in all aspects of the business and is instrumental in creating for the client a team of other essential professional advisors. She speaks Vietnamese and regularly works with clients from China and other parts of Asia.
